THE VILLA PIA EXPERIENCE

We will draw everyday, with different drawing exercises and experiences with accompanying discussion. Each drawing exercise will be framed by simple meditations that expand insight and understanding.  All levels of ability are welcome.

We will use sketchbooks, shared drawings, various scales, materials, and approaches in a non-judgemental atmosphere.
Drawing from observation and the imagination to explore how drawing is a profound tool of visual communication.
We will visit Piero Della Francesca’s ‘Madonna del Parto’ and reflect on its method and meaning.
We will develop our walking meditation stepping out along St Francis of Assisi’s Withdrawal Walk.
All set in a truly inspiring location, beautiful accommodation, and sustained by sumptuous nutritional seasonal food and local wines.

Breathing in, breathing out.
Drawing inward and outward.
